The African Pangolin Working Group (APWG) is dedicated to the conservation of Africa's pangolins. Its work includes the rescue, rehabilitation and release of pangolins, as well as research, education and collaboration with organisations involved in combating wildlife crime.

The Waterberg Wild Dog Initiative focuses on the conservation of African wild dogs within the Waterberg region. Through monitoring, conservation management and collaboration, the initiative works to support wild dog populations and promote the long-term protection of the species.

The Knysna Estuary Research Foundation (KERF) supports scientific research and monitoring aimed at improving our understanding of the estuary and guiding its conservation. Research provides essential information about the health of the estuary, its biodiversity and the environmental pressures affecting it.

SANCCOB – the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds – works to conserve Southern Africa's seabirds through rescue, rehabilitation, release and conservation programmes. SANCCOB's work includes caring for sick, injured and abandoned seabirds, rehabilitating African penguins, raising abandoned chicks and responding to emergencies such as oil spills.

Tortoise Conservation South Africa works to promote the conservation and protection of South Africa's tortoises through practical conservation initiatives and greater public awareness. Protecting tortoises means protecting more than individual animals. It also means preserving the habitats and ecosystems that allow these ancient reptiles to survive in the wild.
